On behalf of the department, I am pleased to welcome you to our website. Humble Police Department is a department of 64 law enforcement officers, a civilian group of 22, and eight part-time staff. Our hiring standards are held high so as to ensure that our officers and administrative staff are some of the most professional and dedicated employees.
Although the City of Humble is a relatively small community in terms of size with a population of approximately 15,000, there are as many as 200,000 people traveling throughout our city on any given day.
While the department works closely with the community, we work diligently to maintain our five primary principles within our mission statement, which are to 1) protect life and property; 2) provide public peace, order and tranquility; 3) prevent crime; 4) apprehend criminals; and 5) provide for safe streets.
Our department has achieved the “Recognized” status by the Texas Police Chief's Association, joining other cities in Texas of this honor.

The City of Humble Fire Department proudly protects 15,000 residents living in the 10 square mile area that makes up the City of Humble. However it is estimated that up to 150,000 people come through our city daily. This is due in part to our city's close proximity to Bush Intercontinental Airport, large commercial district, and U.S. Highway 59 which travels through our city, running north and south. The department operates two fire Stations. Station 1 is located at 108 West Main. Station 2 is located at 501 Wilson Road.

Fire Administration consists of the Fire Chief; Assistant Fire Chief / Suppression, and Assistant Fire Chief / EMS The department is a combination department (paid / Volunteer) that provides Public Fire Education, Suppression, Rescue, and Advanced Life Support services. The current ISO rating of the department is 2.
The City of Humble Fire Department has a total of 36 full-time employees.
